What to expect coming to Oak:

At Oak Chiropractic, we believe great care starts with clarity.

Whether you’re new to chiropractic or simply new to us, here’s what you can expect on your journey to stop living the life of probable—and start living the life of possible.

Your first appointment:

Your first visit is all about understanding you.

We begin with a:
- Detailed health history
- Comprehensive assessment of your spine
- Posture analysis
- Neurological testing
- Orthopaedic testing
All of these combined help to identify the root cause of your concerns.

If clinically appropriate, we may refer for bulk-billed, spinal imaging (e.g. X-rays) to further guide your care.

Treatment may not begin in the initial appointment if we require further investigation to fully understand what the root cause of your condition is and whether it is safe to commence treatment.

Please allow up to 30 minutes for this visit.

Report of findings (ROF):

At your second visit, we take the time to explain your test results and what they mean for your health.

You'll gain a clear understanding of what’s going on and how we can help.
If appropriate, you’ll receive your first chiropractic adjustment or any other care your body may need.

We also provide a tailored care plan specific to your goals—designed to get you closer to living the life of possible.

Regular adjustments:

Your ongoing appointments are focused, efficient, and designed to create momentum.

Depending on your needs, your visits may include:

  • Spinal adjustments

  • Soft tissue techniques

  • Extremity adjustments (e.g. shoulders, knees, wrists)

  • Dry needling

  • Exercise prescription and ergonomic advice

Each session supports your body’s ability to adapt, heal, and perform at its best.

Progress Examinations:

At key milestones in your care, we conduct progress examinations to reassess your health and track measurable improvements.

We repeat the same testing from your initial visit to compare results and offer real-time insight into your progress.

These longer sessions allow for a thorough review of your care, along with updates to your exercise and rehab plan to keep you moving forward..
