Shoulder pain

The shoulder is one of the most mobile and complex joints in the body, allowing for a wide range of motion. This flexibility also makes it vulnerable to strain, strength imbalances and general dysfunction. It can be caused by:

  • Poor posture and ergonomics

  • Spinal dysfunction

  • Rotator cuff issues

  • Overuse from repetitive movements

Because the shoulder relies on a stable base from the spine, ribs, and scapula (shoulder blade), dysfunction in these areas can contribute to or exacerbate shoulder problems.

Our care may involve:

  • Gentle spinal and shoulder joint adjustments to improve movement

  • Soft tissue techniques to address muscle tension or imbalance

  • Postural correction and ergonomic advice

  • Targeted rehab or mobility exercises to restore strength and control
