Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time of incredible change, not just hormonally, but physically and structurally. As your baby grows, your body adapts in many ways to accommodate, including:

  • Altered posture

  • Increased spinal curve

  • Changes to pelvic connective tissue

These shifts can lead to significant back or pelvic discomfort. One of the most common physical changes is the increased curve in the lower back (lumbar lordosis). The hormone relaxin, which softens ligaments to prepare for birth, can also cause joints — especially in the pelvis — to feel less stable.

We offer:

  • Tailored care during pregnancy to support spinal mobility and pelvic alignment.

  • Gentle spinal adjustments with the goal of enhancing comfort and function in this exciting time of your life journey.
